Hi, I’m Madison — scientist, writer, and the woman behind resilienSHE

Unfortunately, some of the strongest, most hardworking, and successful women I know are also the most burnt out. resilienSHE was born out of that space between breakdown and breakthrough.

Trust me, I get it. While finishing my PhD and helping build a biotech startup, I pushed myself past every limit I had. Eventually my body and mind forced me to stop. Burnout didn’t just drain my energy — it stripped away my confidence, curiosity, and sense of direction.

As a scientist trained to study resilience in complex systems, burnout forced me to confront resilience in my own life.For the first time in my life, I stepped away. I stopped. I restedreally rested. I read, I wrote, I cooked, I healed. Slowly, I started to feel like myself again. Until I was finally ready to slowly begin rebuilding a life that felt sustainable.

I’m still learning. Still rebuilding. And sharing what I learn along the way. I hope you’ll join me.
